THE OPPORTUNITY: 

Reporting to the Group Manager Corporate Affairs, and working closely with the Site Leadership Team, the Site Communications Advisor is responsible for developing and delivering internal communication to Pilbara Minerals site-based workforce and provide digital content creation and design support to the broader Corporate Affairs team.

 

This is a permanent position, which operates on a 4:3, 4:3, 8:6 roster based at our Pilgangoora Operation in the Pilbara region of WA.

 

Key responsibilities include:

 

  • Working closely with the General Manager Operations and Senior Site Leadership Team to develop key messaging and communication to enhance workforce engagement.
  • Managing the development and design of engaging, strategically aligned internal communication material content via a range of tools including presentations, videos, photos, digital posters, newsletters, and events.
  • Building strong relationships with internal teams and departments to foster cross-organisational information sharing and collaboration.
  • Writing and editing content for electronic and print communications.
  • Producing storyboard, film and video content.
  • Liaising with contractors, project partners, graphic designers, printers, and other suppliers as required.
  • Maintaining brand integrity across all initiatives and communications.
  • Coordinating employee events.
  • Supporting external communication of the Company’s operation and expansion projects by capturing and producing compelling content for various channels.
  • Represent the Company and its interests at events on site and in the community.
  • Stay abreast of emerging issues and trends that are likely to impact the Company.
  • Monitor and report on the outcomes of communication strategies and techniques to drive continuous improvement.

 

ABOUT YOU:

  • Tertiary qualified in Communications, Marketing, or Public Relations
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft compelling stories for various audiences
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to work collaboratively with senior stakeholders
  • Intermediate experience in using WordPress CMS
  • Understanding and experience with digital and social platforms
  • Experience using Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop, and Premier Pro or similar
  • Experience using email marketing software and text messaging services
  • WA Drivers License
